Senior Research Fellow,University of Hyderabad

Applications are invited for a Senior Research Fellowship under the project “Construction of a Transverse Cooled Li – atomic beam for plasma diagnostics” funded by NFPBRFST,Govt. of India. A single position exists for a candidate with an M.Sc. degree in Physics (or a closely related subject) and at least three years of research experience with laser cooling or atomic beam experiments.

The monthly remuneration will be at the range of Rs. 14,000 p.m with a housing allowance as defined by the University rules. Initial appointment is for one year, with extension for another year based on performance. The position is for full time basis only.

An interview will be held on the morning of 25 th June 2010 for the selection of candidates.
