ONLINE APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM INDIAN CITIZENS FOR 1105 POSTS IN CLERICAL CADRE .

Candidates are requested to apply online between 25.10.2010 and 24.11.2010 only through Bank’s website www.obcindia.co.in after payment of fee (as mentioned at column No. 7) in any of the Branches of Our Bank only.

No other means/mode of application/Payment will be accepted.

CLOSING DATE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION : 24.11.2010

PAYMENT OF FEES : 25.10.2010 TO 24.11.2010

Tentative DATE OF WRITTEN EXAMINATION : 09.01.2011

Before applying candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfill the stipulated eligibility criteria. They should note that the Application fee once deposited will not be refunded or adjusted against any other project. Candidates are advised to fill in the particulars themselves online correctly.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (as on 01.10.2010)

Degree in any discipline or its equivalent with any class/division

OR

10+2 examination or its equivalent with minimum 50%

RELAXATION FOR SC/ST/XS/PWD CANDIDATES: - Pass in 10+2.

NOTE:-

(a) All educational qualifications should be from a Recognized University / Board.

(b) Candidates who state that they have graduated must have obtained the said educational qualification as on 01.10.2010.

(c) Candidates should know to read, write and speak the language of the State for which they are applying.

Online applications are invited from Indian citizens for 1105 posts ((Backlog)SC-03, ST-06, OBC-16,) ((Current)SC-203, ST-58, OBC-242, GEN-577) in Clerical Cadre.

Qualification: Degree in any discipline or its equivalent with any class/division OR 10+2 examination or its equivalent with minimum 50%

Age Limit: Minimum age – 18 years , Maximum age –28 years i.e. Born between 01/10/1982 and 30/09/1992 (both days inclusive)

The selection will be on the basis of written test and interview. All eligible candidates will be called for a written examination, which will be both Objective and Descriptive in nature.

Objective Tests (Duration - 95 Minutes)

Application Fee :

(a) For SC/ST/XS/PWD candidates - Rs. 50/- (For postage)

(b) For all others (including OBC) - Rs. 300/-

Requisite Application Fee may be paid at any of the branch of the Oriental Bank of Commerce only in Current A/c No. 00071011002147 from 25.10.2010 to 24.11.2010
