University of Salford Postgraduate South Asia Bursary Scholarship

The University of Salford has developed an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research. They have been awarding scholarships since 1896 in order to attract the best students to our courses. Many of their courses have become especially popular in the South Asia region and they are keen to encourage high-quality applications from the region through their generous South Asia Bursary.

* Awarded on academic merit only

* £ 2,000 for courses with fees over £ 9,000

* £ 1,000 for courses with fees under £ 9,000

* Available for all full-time postgraduate courses beginning in September 2009 or January/February 2010

* No need to apply separately

* If you meet the academic criteria for the scholarship scheme, as determined by their Admissions Office (please note that the detailed criteria is not published but guidance on their normal minimum eligibility criteria is available in their website mentioned above)
