Eligiblity
A bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/technology/architecture/pharmacy(4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year os such programmes. Candidates in the second or higher year of the four-year integrated Master's degree programme(Post-B.Sc) in Engineering/ Technology or in the third or higher year of five-year integrated Master's degree programme and dual degree programme in engineering technology candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognised by UPSC/AICTE(e.g AMIE) as equivalent to B,E/B.Tech. Duration of exam:3hrs.
JEE
Admission for B.Tech,B.Arch.
Eligiblity
Candidates who have secured 60% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PD) marks in aggregate in their respective board examination are eligible for the test. The JEE will be a single objective type examination which will test the comprehension and analytical abilities of students.
JMET Admission for MBA (in all IIT's)
Eligiblity
Candidates with B.E./ B.Tech. or equivalent with first class or equivalent from a recognized Institution or University OR a Master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with first class or equivalent from a recognized Institution or University are eligible to apply. Students in their final year of qualifying degree course are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, provided they complete all requirements for the qualifying degree

Eligiblity
JAM qualified candidates shall have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admissions in IITs. • At least 55% aggregate marks (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for General/OBC Category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC/ST and PD Category candidates in the qualifying degree. For candidates with letter grades/CGPA (instead of percentage of marks), the equivalent percentage of marks will be decided by the admitting institute(s). Entrance Exam for Five Year Integrated M.A(Humanities and Social Sciences)
Eligiblity
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent or appearing in 2009, with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate [55% in case of SC/ST and persons with physical disability (PD)] They must not have been born earlier than 1st October 1984 (for SC/ST/PD categories 1st October 1979)

Programmes of Study and Eligibility Requirements
Applications of Foreign Nationals nominated by the Government of India under scholarship scheme and self-financing foreign nationals shall be entertained for all the programmes of the Institute. The foreign nationals need not appear for interview and/or entrance tests excepting for B.Tech/Dual Degree programme for admission at IITM, however, they should have passed the equivalent Qualifying Examination from an Indian or Foreign University/Institution together with the qualifying test such as GRE/GMAT and TOEFL. For B.Tech/Dual Degree programme, kindly visit http://www.jee.iitm.ac.in. For five year Integrated M.A programme visit http://hsee.iitm.ac.in. Provision to the extent of 15% of the total seats in each programme on supernumerary basis for Foreign Nationals is available. All the foreign nationals have to fulfill the following conditions.
B.Tech - 4 yrs and Dual Degree (B.Tech & M.Tech) - 5 yrs
Candidates who have passed the final examination under the 10+2 system or its equivalent (or) a pass in the three year diploma in Engineering and who have been placed in the final merit list in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). JEE is a must for foreign national students also.
Integrated M.A - 5 yrs
Candidates who have passed the final examination under the 10+2 system or its equivalent and who have been placed in the final merit list in the Humanities & Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE). HSEE is a must for foreign national students also.
M.Tech - 2 yrs
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology / Architecture or equivalent or a Mater's degree in Mathematics / Physics / Life Sciences / Related Subjects and a valid GATE score (for students who got degree from India).
Additional Qualification for NRI:GRE/GMAT score with TOEFL, academic record and letters of reference.
M.Sc - 2 yrs
Bachelor's degree (a three year B.Sc. degree after 10+2) in Chemistry/Mathematics/Physics with first class or at least 60% of aggregate marks or equivalent and qualify in Joint Admission Test (JAM) (for students who got degree from India).
Additional Qualification for NRI:TOEFL, academic record and letters of reference.
M.B.A - 2 yrs
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology or a Master's degree with First class OR at least 60% of aggregate marks OR equivalent and qualify in Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) (for students who got degree from India).
Additional Qualification for NRI:GMAT score with TOEFL, academic record and letters of reference.
M.S - 1 - 3 yrs
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology with valid GATE score or a Master's degree in appropriate Sciences/Management/Humanities and Social Sciences where eligible with a good academic record and a valid GATE score or qualified in NET (CSIR/ UGC)/NBHM/JMET/CAT/AIMA or equivalent (for students who got degree from India).
Additional Qualification for NRI:GRE/GMAT score with TOEFL, academic record, letters of reference and work experience as the case may be.
Ph.D - 2 - 5 yrs
Master's degree in Engineering/Technology with a good academic record or a Master's degree by Research in Engineering/Technology with a good academic record. Master's degree in Sciences with a good academic record and of exceptional merit where eligible, for the relevant Engineering discipline and a valid GATE score or qualified in NET (CSIR/ UGC)/NBHM/JMET/CAT/AIMA or equivalent. (for students who got degree from India)
