UG ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The admissions to the undergraduate programme (B.Tech.) in various fields are held through All India Engineering Entrance Examination (A.I.E.E.E) conducted by C.B.S.E. The candidates who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination are eligible to apply. Those appearing in 10+2 are also eligible to apply. Applicants are required to appear in A.I.E.E.E. A merit list is prepared on the basis of their performance in A.I.E.E.E. and seats are allotted according to their rank. Seats are reserved as per the rules.

Master of Technology

Admission to a M.Tech. Programme shall be open to candidates who passed the prescribed qualifying examination with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 5.5 in the 0-10 scale grading system, OR not less than 55% marks in the aggregate (taking into account the marks scored in all the subjects of all the public/university examinations conducted during the entire prescribed period for the degree programme). However, this prescribed minimum shall be a CGPA of 5.0 OR 50% marks in the aggregate for SC/ST candidates.

MBA

1) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with not less than 55% marks in the aggregate taking into account the marks scored in all subjects of all the university examination conducted during the entire prescribed period of the degree programme. However, this prescribed minimum marks shall be 50% in the case of SC/ST students. Final year students can also apply but admission is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
