The Selvam College of Technology (SCT) approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. UGC Recognized 2(f) Status, ISO 9001:2008 certified institution; The institution was established in the year 2006 by Thiru. V.Ponnusamy educational and charitable Trust, Namakkal.

The Selvam College of Technology currently offers seven U.G courses in the ?eld of (Civil, Mechanical, EEE, ECE, CSE, IT, Bio - Tech) and P.G courses in (Engg.Design, Computer Science, Power Electronics & Drives, Applied Electronics, MCA, MBA) in the discipline of Engineering and Technology.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2009 and provided with state of art laboratory facilities and hands on training to the students both in conventional subjects and also in the engineering fields of specialization. The Department has an excellent infrastructure and well experienced faculty members who dedicated to produce high caliber techno crafts.
OBJECTIVES
To prepare internationally competent students for successful careers in industry
To develop the ability among students to synthesize data and technical concepts for application to product design.
To provide students with a sound foundation in the mathematical, scientific and Engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyze engineering Problems and to prepare them for graduate studies.
To promote student awareness of the life-long learning and to introduce them to Professional ethics and codes of professional practice.
To impart quality education in this region with the active participation of the leading Industries, Institutions and society.
To set up a centre of excellence in the field of Mechanical Engineering in academic research and development and serve the society by molding the rural students as engineers to meet the ever growing challenges of the industry and Society.

ICABCMS15 is a comprehensive conference covering various topics of Bio Technology, Civil & Mechanical Science, We believe inclusive and wide - ranging conferences such as ICABCMS15 can have significant impacts by bringing together experts and research from the different and often separated fields of BCM.
By bringing together these fields, it helps create unique opportunities for collaborations and shaping new ideas for experts and researchers.
The aim of the ICABCMS15 is to gather scholars from all over the world to present advances inthe aforementioned fields and to foster an environment conducive to exchange ideas and information.
