About the Department:
The Department of Automobile Engineering was established in the year
2009. Our curriculum has been devised to develop engineers with strong
analytical, modeling, experimental, design ability and to inculcate
the spirit of the true entrepreneur. The department aims at
maintaining a high standard of excellence through value based
education, technology and innovation. The devoted faculty members of
the department combine their commitment to research with hard work and
competent in teaching. The Department does have well equipped
laboratories to impart training to the students with state-of-the-art
technologies
About the University:

Dr.R.Vasanthakumar initiated Karpagam Academy of Higher Education.
Karpagam University is established Under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956, of
University Grants Commission, New Delhi and approved by Ministry of
Human Resources Development, Government of India , New Delhi. The
newly formed Karpagam University is taking a number of steps to
promote higher education in this region. There are 18 Schools, with 48
Departments and 79 programmes in Karpagam University.

How to reach Karpagam University :
Our college is located around 10 Kms away from Coimbatore at Pollachi
main road. One can reach only by road. More than 22 college buses were
plying from various cornes of the city. If any one coming by City bus
they have to board the buses at Karpagam College Stops. Bus Routes
From Gandhipuram and Ukkadam : 33,33A,33B,84D.
