National Engineering College IT Association is organizing a National Level Technical Symposium, IGNITE’12 on March 1st 2012 for the students. This symposium will prove to be an impetus for all engineering students to exhibit their technical and co-technical expertise.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
PRESENT IT (Paper Presentation) – Quench your thirst for knowledge
Maximum two authors per paper (Max Limit: 8 Pages)
Two Hard copies must be sent to the mentioned address
Mail the Soft copy to mentioned e-mail address
Paper Format: A4 size, Font type: Times New Roman with Font size 12, Line space 1.5 lines, Top margin 1 inch, Bottom margin 1inch, Left margin 1 inch, Right Margin 1 inch and single sided
Paper selection will be intimated through E-mail only
Last date for submission: 23.02.2012
Selection Intimation: 25.02.2012
Time duration:
10 minutes per paper (7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for queries)
Topics: Any IT related topics
MAKE IT (CPU Assembling) - Build your own PC
Two per team
Maximum time of 15 minutes
DEBUG IT (Debugging) – Beware of Bugs
Individual event
Codes will be given to the participants
They have to debug the errors in the given code
SELL IT (Marketing) – Sell Your Product
Maximum 3 per team
Event consists of two rounds
1) Preliminary
2) Finals
FIGURE IT (Pictionary) – Paint To Victory
Maximum two per team
Each team member will be placed in separate rooms
For each of those members certain words will be given. The equivalent picture of those words must be drawn and at the end the papers will be exchanged
The member in one team must find out the answers for the drawings done by another member
