ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: This program aims to provide an overview of theories, and practices on Research Methodology, a vital aspect and requirement for the researchers. It will address the skills deemed essential for the successful research right from identifying the problem and completing the project and defending the same. Researchers will find this as an opportunity hone their potential. At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to go with satisfaction in carrying out their research with inputs from sources like IEEE / ACM in their field of research. This programme will have Inputs from the University of Mysore and Iowa State University,USA as well. The broad outline of the workshop is as under:
First Day 27-01-2012
1. How to choose problem
2. How to download research papers from
IEEE/ACM/SPRINGER/ELSEVIER etc…
3. How to select journals/conferences
4. How to select tools for implementation
5. How to collect data
6. How to perform data analysis with case studies
Second Day 28-01-2012
1. How to write a conference paper
2. How to write a journal paper
3. How to present papers
4. How to write project thesis
5. How to prepare slides for presentation
6. How to write project proposals to funding agencies
7. How to check plagiarism using suitable software.
RESOURCE PERSONS
Dr. P. Nagabhushan, A highly profound professor who has successfully guided 20 research scholars at Mysore.
Dr. R.M. Suresh, Asso. Dean – Research, RMD Engineering College who has been a resource person in similar programmes and currently guiding a no. of researchers.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Young researchers and faculty members who are interested in research.

-- Industry & Other Delegates: Rs. 1500/=You are going to get more than 50,000/- worth of materials and software.
REGISTRATION: Registration will be done on “FIRST COME FIRST SERVED” basis. As seats are limited, (60 seats only) to avoid disappointment, early registration is recommended.
