Civil Engineering is facing new challenges with the
advancement in technology. The structures built
economically, environmental friendly, and further resistive
to earthquake and various other forces are today’s
requirements. However, this process involving complicated
analysis further requires a consistent endeavour by Civil
Engineering professionals. Therefore, this conference has
set its main objective to disseminate the knowledge by
providing a common platform for academicians, industrial
and practising Civil Engineers to stay abreast with the
latest development in the area.
Conference Theme
The conference is planned with the objective to provide a
platform to Civil Engineering Professionals and as such the
scope has not been restricted. The theme will as such
cover the following main areas:
• Structural Engineering
• Geotechnical Engineering
• Transportation Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering
• Construction Technology & Management
• Disaster Reduction and Management
Call for the Papers
Research papers related to the above themes are invited
for oral presentation. Abstract highlighting the objective,
methodology and conclusions within 300 words need to be
submitted. The acceptance of the abstract would be
informed after review by the committee. Full length paper
should be submitted as per the guidelines which will be
informed after the acceptance of the abstract. The paper
should not have more than three authors. It will be a
binding that at least one of the authors should be present
in the conference for presentations.

Submission of Abstract: 15 January, 2012
Intimation of Acceptance of Abstract: 30 January, 2012
Submission of Full Length Paper: 15 February, 2012
Intimation of Acceptance of Full Length Paper: 01 March, 2012
Last Date for Registration: 07 March, 2012
Payments:
All payments are to be made through bank draft in the name
of “Chairman, ICCE 2012” payable at Central Bank of India,
GZSCET, Bathinda.
